The mirror into which I gaze is not on the wall before me, it is within me... so that all I see (therein) is a reflection of my consciousness. How do you arrive at any moment of self-judgment? You're looking in the mirror, trying to protect yourself from what you see. The great illusion is that there is such a thing as an overwhelming moment. Only something fixed can be overwhelmed. There is no moment when I'm not looking in the mirror of myself. Nothing in nature is fixed, but there is something fixed in our psychology. Let yourself be overwhelmed. The more you meet moments without protecting yourself, the more the observer and observed naturally come together. I'm then brought into another order of consciousness. Then the prodigal son makes his full circle home. Wherever you go, it's enough to be you.
