Our present experience of life is the mostly negative effect of living in a state of unconscious duality. So that instead of being aware of the anxious and fearful antics of a mind secretly set against itself, we sleep in its dreams... ever struggling to change or escape the world we are given to see, instead of doing the interior work it takes to change the nature of the seer.

Exercise
When you feel a disturbance trying to pull you in, don't "fight" or "take flight" -- remember the third option: TAOIS. Turn Around, Observe, and Intentionally Suffer. Work to understand the situation by becoming aware of the world you are in. Instead of being subjected to its will, subject that world to your awareness of its presence in you and the pain it produces. In this way you will invite realignment with the laws of the world above you.
