Find Your Place in the Curriculum of Peace

We need to become a different order of human being, to have a change of mind that thinks, sees and acts differently toward life. The consciousness of a human being is determined by the order of energy in it. A new mind is a change in the organism so that it can take in new energies, which will allow it to live in a New World. This change is an interior process.

There was a man pounding on a vending machine. The owner asked him what he was doing? He said, I didn't get what I was supposed to. The owner said, "It gives out prizes according to what is put into it." We are not owed anything in this world. We are put here to give something. In order to change one needs to see what is going on instead of being immersed in it.

There was a spiritual school that had a Curriculum of Peace. At a certain point the students were given a test to determine who would advance and who wouldn't. There were 5 separate stages they had to go through in order to become a different order of human being. The teacher gave each student some gold coins for their journey.

1. First there was a point in the road where the path diverged. One went up into a green pasture and one went down into a desert. All went up but our heroine.

2. The desert looked endless but she finally came to an oasis where she met other students from other classes who had made it that far. There was a worldly caravan there. The students told the people on the caravan that they want a ride out of the desert and offered to pay them. They were told their coins were useless. All the students except our heroine complained and got negative. Our heroine realized there was no point in getting negative and the people who ran the caravan saw this and the next day as they were leaving they invited our heroine to join them. The world lines up for those who want God's life.

3. They came to the city of bright lights and here everyone congratulated our heroine for making it so far. People drag you into their world by flattery and trying to make you feel important and get you to do their work for them. She left and they turned on her.

4. The next place she went there were only a few people there but this place was filled with worldly treasures and jewels. This place needed to be passed as well because she knew that these things wouldn't add anything of real value to her. When she left people started yelling after her.

5. After she left, she realized she had no coins left. She had used them to provide provisions for the trip. It was impossible to go forward but she couldn't go back and collapsed on the spot. When she woke she was back at the school.

All the students asked why was it that she made it. The teacher said, " Because she paid. She paid by going the hard way. Before coming to the light one must see what is dark. She paid by not being negative and complaining. She paid inwardly. She refused to pay attention to the inner mob. She paid by not wanting the love of this world but wanting the love of God. She paid by giving up the treasures by wanting God more that God's creations. The last step she couldn't take herself but had to pay by giving herself up. There was no way, no hope but the love that brought her to that point, brought her through.

There were 2 men friendly at work. One man was divorced and had fallen on bad times and had hardly any money to eat. His daughter called and he accepted a collect call from her. His friend asked him, man you don't have enough money to eat why did you accept that collect call. He said, "I would rather talk to my daughter than eat." God calls collect. He asks, "Do you want to be with me? "Pay first". To have peace you must pay in advance. You have to loose your live in order to gain it. There are endless ways to pay in advance. Watch the parts of yourself that want attention. Don't complain. Don't go over what someone did to you. Don't drag yourself down. Let go. Want the Curriculum of Peace more than your ideas of what perfection is. Don't give yourself everything you want. God calls collect. Do you want to listen and hear my voice or entertain yourself with your own thoughts and feelings? Find ways to be awake to yourself. Do your work. God will do the rest.
