When you wake up in the morning, and at any point when you are awakened, let it be your first task to start out on the right foot. Be present to yourself, aware of the thoughts, of what is moving through you, calling you to identify with it. In that awareness is the understanding that you are, that you exist, and that what you are, what exists, cannot be deceived into identifying with that which drags it down, can never be confined. Let the awareness determine for you what your actions are.
