The power of whatever we may fear (psychologically) is not in the thing feared, but rather is a feature of a lower level of consciousness that fears seeing the only power it has ever had, or ever will... is imagined.

Exercise
Fear, that consciousness, doesn't exist without what it imagines must be resisted. This fearful nature always speaks in terms of I can't. It always sees what is not possible. Fear always sees what has to be avoided. Find out if that fear is real. Don't take fight or flight as the law. The new law is, step into what you most fear. That's not fighting that’s saying, though I do not know what will happen to me I'm going to bring this light, this new law, this new order of myself that is barely born and bring it into this moment where instead of serving fear, I'm going to serve my wish to understand it.
If you do that, you will see that the fear has always been and acted upon you only because you didn't understand that you didn't have to let it act on you and tell you who and what you are and what can or can't be done. Fear doesn't know anything, but it tells you it knows everything.
