We have fallen into a state where we have no knowledge of what we're living under internally.

When something takes over your attention it also takes over your intention. This is how your original intention becomes an accidental intention.

An accidental life changes nothing except for the kinds of accidents we have.

What is the authority in any moment that I'm trying to escape pain? The authority of a nature that says you will lose something if you don't do as it says.

Only an intentional life can bring about the development of a human being.

The story of St. Paul on the road to Damascus is the story of a man who goes from an accidental life to an intentional one. He was overcome by immense, conscious humiliation, which preceded the awakening of conscience. The meaning behind "being blinded" was that he no longer saw through his old eyes and now saw through the eyes of conscience.

A person of conscience has an intention to do no harm to others or themselves. This is the love of Christ.

We never consider the consequences of living an accidental life. If I'm not intentionally present, I'm accidentally absent.

What needs to happen to live intentionally? Become more conscious of what you come into the moment with.

When you live intentionally you are no longer under the yoke of the nature that is pulling you left and right.

An intentional life is one where we know our tendencies before our resistance to their appearance. The wish must become commensurate with the work.

When you live intentionally, you don't need anybody to understand you because you are living from an understanding that is fulfilled moment by moment and which belongs to the conscience that has brought you to that place of being able to see your own character.

The shift is from a nature that is always looking for self-confirmation to one that needs no confirmation.

If I'm not looking to prove or confirm myself, what's left? Revelation. This is what happened to St. Paul. He was delivered to another order of intention that belonged to another world.

Right now my "I" is the byproduct of an accidental nature. What's needed is a new, higher level of intention that isn't determined by an unconscious reaction to an unexpected condition.

As you begin to give birth to the seed within you that is the substance of conscience, you start to be fearless. Real fearlessness is knowing that if you have the right intention, you will be released from the accidental nature.

Intention is born the more clearly you see what is not right or good, and not for Real I. The clearer this becomes the more intentional your life becomes.

The intentional choice is to step into revelation.
