It’s impossible to learn about the nature that meets everything through thought when we’re always in the world of thought ourself.
We unknowingly fear our experience of a moment that our own mind has generated.
Our interactions are governed by unconscious reactions that limit us to the choices they give us to make in that moment.
No reaction that we have is our choice; not one.
We believe it is the resistance coming from another that is responsible for the judgements we make about them.
The one thing that a human being fears at the level of judgement is that he/she doesn’t know what to do with his/her own pain; and so, through judgement we make others responsible for that experience.
“You must lose your life to find it” and “There’s no you to lose your life.”
The only real problem that we have in life is that we only have this world; locked into what we see as being responsible for what we judge, or what we see as the possibility of escaping the pain of always judging - opposites.
This world, this consciousness creates time in which to finally resolve the conflict inherent in itself.
We fear losing control over something we’ve imagined.
If we’re not present to what is dominant in us, we are the one first dominated and then we blame someone else for the pain of feeling that captivity.
Nothing can come into us that isn’t there for us to see, for us to learn about ourself through.
The one who’s thinking, the entire nature analyzing itself, is what has to be lost.
Real faith is born in the moment when a person catches a glimpse of the world that they thought was the only world, from the momentary appearance of another order of understanding that isn’t connected to time.
There is another order of awareness whereby it is possible for us to get an inkling of just how absolutely unique a creature we are.
You, yet to be discovered, are not relegated to the level of this world. We always have an out and the out that we have is always in the world that we’re trying to get out of – which is this consciousness.
Part of the dark night of the soul is the realization that we can’t change ourself, that we can’t imagine our way out.
Blessed are the poor in spirit because they are beginning to see that there is no “you” to lose.
One must awaken in order to die and then be reborn.
The violence in this lower consciousness comes out of unmitigated unseen conflict. When judgement doesn’t change what is judged it eventually leads to violence.
