Let Go and Live the Extraordinary Life

What we long for is already inside of us, but we don't experience it.

On the one hand, we have a mind, which works to get what it promises itself. On the other hand, we have "divine dissatisfaction" which longs to be in relationship with the moment.

We currently live through our five senses. We take in stimuli and that's our experience of life, which is apart from all that we see. If I get what I see and bring it to me then I'm happy. Life is inside of us, but that's not the way we live. We live a secondhand life. What was extraordinary is now humdrum. The limitation of our consciousness is the source of our unhappiness.

Part of the problem is that we want to be extraordinary. We've all had something extraordinary happen to us -- that moment always loses its glitter. Why is that? Two things can happen -- we either become cynics or we see the truth of having vested ourselves in something. In the moments when we truly feel something, something else then comes in to steal it away.

GF notes that it's very still in the room right now. It's an eternal principle and it's never not beginning. We experience the extraordinary life when we let ourselves be in it. Every effort that's made to bring yourself back is the entrance into the extraordinary life. And eventually becomes your guide and counsel. Ultimately the emptiness becomes love.

We can't make ourselves be still. The stillness is the awareness of the disturbance. We are currently takers -- we must become givers of ourselves. True giving is a total release. If we ever have a moment when we feel ourselves touch something higher, it must be in us for us to feel it. There must be something higher, otherwise we wouldn't long for it.
