Part 1
It's impossible to die to the pain of our past... as long as we remain identified with an unconscious nature that can't seem to go through a day without reliving some dark memory it then summarily resists.
Part 2
The weight of any heavy, lingering negative feeling is only as hard to bear as is the extent to which we are identified with the pain of our own resistance to it. In other words: it is the weight of not wanting the experience of what we're actually doing to ourselves in that same moment.
