The way the mind works now, it looks out and there's just this world with you that messes with it, and me that wants it right. It's all one world to me. But awakening is the sudden realization that somehow or other what I took to be the only world isn't the only world.
If you were empowered to change life -- in order to give yourself whatever is always good and true for you to know and have -- would you ever make any other kind of changes? For example, would you fear unexpected events, such as a loss of some kind? No! Even though they may come as a surprise, you already know that they herald a new beginning of something better.
It's a little-known secret that our experience of life in any given moment is a direct reflection of what we actually value in that same moment. We may deny this unsettling truth, but when it comes to what we are in relationship with, inwardly and outwardly, actions speak louder than words--and, seen or not, all actions are a choice of one kind or another...

But in this work, that nature that would hide its weakness is the enemy, because it ensures that we never bring into the light of understanding that which alone can change and transform that nature that lives with that kind of weakness and works to hide it; A weakness becomes a strength when it changes everything that individual is in relationship with.
