Without purposeful action there can be no transformational experience; without this level of consequential experience, (real) self-knowledge remains out of reach. The wisdom hidden in this higher understanding is the seed of liberation, and its flowering is faith.

The unseen power of conscious persistence when directed toward any aspiration is to hold us in place until either the world lines up with our desire, affirming our faith; or, we're given to see that our wish is misguided, thereby releasing us from that struggle while -- at the same time -- liberating us from a painful, misplaced sense of self. But, regardless the outcome, our willingness to stay the course grants us a spiritual victory that can only be realized through conscious persistence.
