There must not be an answer to the questions we have in our hearts. We always tell ourselves what the problem is and what the answer is to the problem. The Truth is that there is a question in one's heart that one cannot answer. Turning on oneself is not the Truth. There is no punishment in the Truth.
Story - The Mountain of Tears: A wise old Indian takes his granddaughter on a camping trip. She sees a rock with water pouring through holes in it. The Indian tells her the story of the River and the Mountain.
Long ago the Mountain and the River were friends, brother and sister. But one day a crow flew over the mountain with a worm in its mouth. The worm made its way into the heart of the mountain and began to whisper to it in strange voices. "The river is wearing away your base."
The mountain started to throw rocks at the river. It became a sick mountain and could not recall its former love for the river. The mountain began to diminish. Eventually all that was left of the mountain was its heart that wept, as tears from the river poured through.
There cannot be fear without the illusion of possession. All we possess is a temporary sense of self born by being identified with an image. This creates great pain. It is not given to us to keep anything except the truth. When you set yourself against the light you see only the shadows cast by enmity. The Truth reveals there is no possession only process. You can't be in a negative state without a sense of possession.
