I'll go first. Be the first one to be aware of what it feels like to want to punish another for your pain. Be aware of your own state; you can't want to hurt another without first hurting yourself. We have never witnessed the fact that there's something in this consciousness that justifies wanting to hurt another human being. It is impossible to have a quiet mind and an innocent heart as long as we live from a consciousness that makes an enemy of the moment, blaming the pain of our experience on something outside of ourselves. As with the "second snow," just one degree of melting remembrance that blame has never worked brings the Light of Awareness into that consciousness and releases the burden of a divided mind.
