A Revelation About an Undreamed of Spiritual Resource

There comes a point in everyone's life where they have a split second of seeing themselves as they are, but normally this is completely covered up. These are moments of recognizing the essential lie that runs a person's life.

Change can only occur when I say, "Look what I am reduced to. My mind won't let me rest." But quickly all associations with the disturbance are lost.

We don't want to see what's there when we fall apart. We suffer from polarized minds. Seeing myself (and the world) at its lowest point is a replica of my mind. Evil is the unchecked action of a polarized mind. 

False purposes are the effect of false desires. We try to exact what we imagine will protect us. I become terrified that I can't hold my world together. Where are my resources when I'm filled with negative states?

Before there are Light Revelations, there are dark revelations. A dark revelation is what I don't want to see about myself. I try just to keep my life in place. This is part of a dark revelation. Light comes by itself when we are willing to have dark revelations.

Story: A sincere spiritual student sees that life outside him is the same as his life inside. He decides to change. (I imagine a "me" that is not "me.")

He endeavors to get past a spiritual gate, but can't get by. The guard says, "You can't have anything of yours." The student comes back 7 times with nothing.

Guard "You have not given up the certainty that the only resources available are your own."

Anything your mind moves to is a resource of its own. "Of myself I can do nothing." 

Story 2: The fulfillment of life is through redemption. Something happens and I am transformed. Another intelligence replaces my own.

There was once a dictator who clawed his way to the top. His wife said to him one day, "You only hear what you want to hear." Not wanting to hear, is "only wanting to hear" yourself.

What I need to hear about myself I cannot tell, but everything I need to hear is present around me all the time. What is this moment telling me? We live in a world not limited to our perceptions. A larger world exists, larger than we can presently perceive. We live in a world of light and tone, but we're not conscious of overtones. We are intended to hear the tones of the present moment.

We need to learn to come to a stop in the moment. What is life telling me? There's always a primal urge. What I'm about to do, I should not do.

Stopping is the same as calling on resources not your own. I need confidence based on nothing. Stay in the fire of the present moment. Be conscious of the fire. It can do something the mind will never do. Come to a stop and bear the dark revelation of yourself.
