In the moment of any "oh no" contraction, follow these three words: Allow the experience. Be willing to observe the whole moment instead of separating yourself from it. Agree to be overwhelmed, as anything you do towards a disturbance is just a continuation of it. Be brought into an awareness of the complicit parts of yourself by allowing the experience to run its course.
