See the want of the moment. The level of consciousness that we live from doesn’t understand that the will that it acts from is its own will. It is the desire of a momentary want that belongs to that consciousness that doesn't know itself at all. Every judgement has its root in what we don't want, and everything that this consciousness does want is connected to what it is trying to get away from in the moment. But we usually the connection between want and not-want as the moment is unfolding. The exercise is to catch yourself in thought and work to see the most persistent, consistent want of the moment. Our intent is to understand that the extent to which we want is the extent to which we are bound in time. In that understanding there is a Wisdom that transcends desire.
