Classroom Talk: 10/6/2004 - Not wanting events to unfold as they do often feels like a measure of control over unwanted moments, but any negative reaction to reality is only an unseen form of self-punishment and not the rescuing power we mistake it to be. The only thing our resistance to life adds to us is the weight of a self-induced suffering born of a needless worry.
