Poverty is best defined not by what we may possess or don't, but rather by what we have mistakenly come to value above all else, and then continue to suffer over, uselessly.

Student Talks: 10/03/2025 - 

Life gives. 

Life asks.

And when, at last, 

We are willing 

To surrender whatever

Life may ask of us,

Excluding nothing –

Let alone our most 

Familiar sense of self –

Then, for having died 

To the fear of death 

We are set free.

Look closely at what a person struggles with in life; the actual nature of what he or she is fighting to possess, protect, or win; to what does he give his time, most of his attention? To what end her plans, the things she pursues and puts first each day? Such is the only real way to measure the true nature of anyone's character, including our own.

Topics covered:  "The events that we don't want must return. Above our present understanding is the fact that everything that transpires is the expression of another order of being that is responsible for reconciling the moment; The root of all true teachings, the true basis of religion, is "metanoia," which is the capacity to turn around and experience a completely new order of relationship with life."

Student Talks: 04/25/2025 - The life and death of the Christ did not happen two-thousand years ago, any more than the rising and setting of the sun belongs to a particular place and time. Seen, or not, the life of Christ is always now…as is His sacrifice for the sake of the continuing perfection of the human Soul.

Student Talks: 1/31/2025 - The path to self-perfection weaves its secret way through the land of imperfection, where only the conscious awareness of what we are shows us not just who and what we have been, but all that we are made to be...as we agree to be perfected right where we stand.

Classroom Talk: 10/23/2024 - No moment is painful in and of itself; any conflict, or suffering ascribed to it is a dark creation of our own unconscious, negative assessment of it.

Topics covered:  Exploration in the world alone is useless, as long as the nature that is searching does not know itself; Revelation is always about relationship, and without that understanding nothing can change for the individual; Faith is what happens when an individual begins to do what he or she was previously afraid of doing. Wisdom comes from a marriage between contemplation and action.

Student Talks: 10/4/2024 - Key Lesson: In this life – regardless of circumstance – there is no greater reward than our God-given right to see what is true, and then to do what is asked of us in the light of that revelation; neither is there any task that comes with so great a personal price.

Most of us "give" back to life -- to others -- what little we do only to ensure we continue to get whatever we feel is fair in trade for that exchange. It's a good thing that the Divine doesn't adhere to our notion of a fair program of exchange.
