Find True Peace Beyond "This and That"

Four friends went on a camping trip and brought their CD's. One man went off on his own. When asked why, he said, "I just wanted to hear sounds I've never heard before." We are in search of a sound that will bring us peace, will, being and contentment but over and over again all we hear is the same old sounds, the thoughts of our mind. Human nature is a story of strife and conflict and the root of this is the desire for what will make us feel real and bring us happiness. If we obtain this, then we'll be that. These are the opposites. But when we get that it turns out to be at enmity with this. I want a relationship so I won't feel alone then when I get a relationship I wish I were alone.

Division is fundamental in this world. Opposites are at the root of creation. It is tearing us up and killing our souls because we haven't awakened to how it can be a creative force and work for us. This life is intended to use this and that. The conflict between this and that, is an imaginary future time when we will be fulfilled. We depart from this (the me that is incomplete) and dream about a time when we will be what we should be, complete and whole. This and that are secretly one thing, the me that's not and the me that will be. The problem is when we can no longer extract a sense of self out of what will be because our plans have broken down.

The self always knows who and what it is by what it wants. The self and what it wants is one thing. There is distance between me and what I want. What I want is essential to what I what to be. Between here and there are crashing storms. Self knows itself by what it considers. Human beings are want machines, trying to resolve something. There is pursuit and the time it takes to get it and we are always trying to fill the gap. The space between this and that is a creation of our own mind. 

We are SPS -- Self-Positioning Satellite, trying to figure out where we are. There is this never-ending self-positioning born out of the opposites. When I get there, all will be good on this earth.  We do not exist independent of what we think we need to make us happy.

What will make us happy changes with the winds of thoughts and the circumstances we find ourselves in. Where we are and what we need, needs to be one thing or there will never be peace.

When Truth takes us to a certain point waiting there is Truth where it always was. There are 2 worlds, the universe according to my self or God placed awareness. What we need is always pouring into what we are if we are in the present moment. Awakened awareness and willingness to let the light pour into us.  We are always going somewhere and getting nowhere. We are always trying to come to the end of our pain. There is a rift in our souls and it is not a punishment but a condition. It is there so that a human being can see that the opposites can never solve the dissatisfaction in our hearts. The only resolution is now.

There is something that lives inside of us that we know nothing about. It is, "I am". Feel it, don't think it. Come awake. This "I am" nature is both need and fulfillment. It is never without what it needs to be what "I am". Life is trying to get you "To be". Everything you need to learn, to change, to be at peace, is pouring in right now.
