See Through the Chief Deception of the Devil

The head devil was upset because here and there were pockets of people who were discerning all the ways that the devil was trying to deceive them and began to try and bring light into their lives and discover the real purpose and meaning of their lives. He wanted to come up with a plan to stop this and one of his little fiery imps came up with an idea that delighted the head devil. He called all the little imps together and said, "You are going to go up to the earth and whisper into the ears of human beings, "Try to find ways to save time!" Time does not exist.

The only power the darkness has to deceive a human being is to try and get a person to build a life on this earth. Rushing steals the joy out of life. Human beings rush to get through something so they can have time to themselves. What have we done with all the time we have saved? The root of rushing is: I have something more important to do. We must use our time for its best purpose. We do not know what our lives are for.

Real spiritual life asks everything of a man or a woman. A spiritually successful human being is not unkind, cruel to others and has time for people they come in contact with. They are aware of what they are doing. We rush to please ourselves at the cost of what?

We have pain and then we create an image of a pleasure that will take the pain away. The more the image of the pleasure is formed the more pressure we have and the less nice we are. This is the creation of time. The clearer the formulation the clearer my destination the more time is created. We go faster and faster to reach the end of the pain. The pressure grows because we want to save time.

When we tend to a tree we not only serve the tree but the forest and earth that gives rise to it and the life that gives rise to the earth. When we serve time, it benefits no one, but when we serve the moment, it serves everything. No opposite can resolve itself. Awareness of the opposites is the fulfillment of it and ceases to serve the awareness of time that is outside of it. Presently we serve time, pictures filled with sensation, and give away the hope of our real life which is to live in the Now. Scale and measurement is time.

Meaning created by our minds is what ends of betraying us. We are not in service but in servitude. There is a connection between what we serve and ourselves. We have to see this relationship between our interior states and the purposes for what we are living. Awareness of our cruelty and impatience and its bitter taste allows us to begin to separate from it.

No one rushes in Heaven and no one makes mistakes there. Become conscious of what you are serving. Come awake. Serve the present moment and your remembrance of God. Everything works just fine in nature. The apple doesn't say, "I have to get ripe" It just ripens in good time. Everything in its time when it is given what it needs to grow. It is not our time. An awaken human being does not live in time. Don't allow pain to push you ever again.
