Every wise saying that stirs the heart, or helps illuminate the mind, is a kind of Divine seed: each speaks in its own tongue of some timeless chapter and verse, but always hinting of -- and silently pointing to -- the Book of Truth from which it has come.
Part 2
Wisdom never gets old because its true nature is timeless; knowledge is already old, because it is a creation of time.
Explore and find the wisdom within you. Within what we call wisdom there is more wisdom. Within everything that we discover about ourselves is yet another discovery. When we encounter a truthful idea, when we hear or see something that stirs us, we're drawn to what the nesting doll represents: worlds within worlds. The exercise is to take some time out of your day and find something that you love: an idea, a quote, a proverb, a passage from any true book. Sit down with it and ask with all of your heart to be shown something more about what you love. See that each discovery is a shadow of the next discovery that waits for you to explore, take into yourself, and realize that it has always been there as a part of yourself.
