Uncertainty

Topics covered: The problem is not the conditions in the world outside of us. The problem is the consciousness that looks out at the world; The world is in the mess that it is in because everyone in the world is trying to fix the mess; The antidote is in the venom. The real release from fear doesn't exist outside of the understanding that we are already free, but deceived.

When your mind holds a picture of how your life should be, a sense of self is created that can never be at peace, and desperation replaces natural aspiration. Instead of looking for consolation in things outside of you, learn what it means to see your life through the eyes of the Divine. You'll find that something within you already knows what is real from what is false.

Likewise, the answer that you look for to ease a pain is not outside of the moment that the pain appears; It is the way that you see the moment that produces the feeling of being seized by it; Does a moment itself, as it is, have any psychological weight? No, the weight is in the consciousness that struggles against the moment.

Classroom Talk: 10/13/2024 - The first place to look any time you feel a sudden stab of pain is to see that not only is the sting of this moment a creation of your own hand, but also to see how - in that very same moment - you're being handed the reasons why you have no choice but to struggle with, and suffer over what amounts to a self-inflicted wound.

Every revelation -- regardless its nature -- is the expressed momentary experience of a Divine perfection that belongs to a higher order of Being; (it is) a Oneness that dwells, unseen, in another order of time. Behind "each" of these revelations is the Divine will responsible for its appearance... a will that "seeks" to integrate the disparate parts of whatever it reveals, that it might bring...
