Here’s why it’s impossible to (try and) protect ourselves from the fear of uncertainty or disappointment and -- at the same time -- hope to deepen our relationship with the Divine: self-realization is (our) atonement with the ceaseless revelation that emptiness and fulness are to one another... as are the four seasons that seemingly turn from one into the other.

See Without Thinking

Presently we live from a nature that is FIXED in its patterns and beliefs.  In unwanted moments, it turns to thought to tell it what to do. But thought can never be new. In any moment of fear or uncertainty, work to SEE WITHOUT THINKING. Ask "Can I see something NEW in this moment?".  Be PART OF Life's ceaseless movement, rather than resisting it.
