Awaken to the Real You that Lives Above All Aches

The reason we don't change is because we occupy the wrong place in ourselves. The same "me" meets different events. It is our thoughts that produce our lives. When we hold a thought for the future, it may manifest, but our self doesn't change. We always get what we would give first. The pain we assign to another person is ours first. I give myself the pain I want to inflict on another.

I think that "me" and the life I don't want are separate. My experience of life is synonymous with what I am. Thought is not adequate to change one's life. No thought exists that is not part of my past. We do not see what is when we look out. We see what we resist. Thought tells me what I see. Presently I see life as a thought. I don't know that that is no different from the nature that perceives it. To see life first, places it outside of me.

Don't relegate what is wrecking you to anything outside yourself. You are never a victim because everything originates inside of you.
