Classroom Talk: 4/14/2024 - If -- by the light of remembering and considering what is Timeless, Holy, and True -- the heart is warmed and gradually enflamed, then the following must be true, even if yet to be seen: within us must dwell some sort of celestial kindling; what else can explain how such a flame is created, let alone serve as a light in the darkness of the soul... uniting the twain, making of them as one.

Classroom Talk: 12/31/2023 - Just as the eyes that see the sun cannot understand its light by which they behold the shape and beauty of all things, neither can the heart understand the love that calls it to know and embrace all things. Eye and heart are creatures in time, but Light and Love are not. Even so, they meet; in their union is the mystery, miracle, and fulfillment of our yet realized Divine possibility.

Classroom Talk: 9/22/2023 - To be identified with even the most elegant description of the Divine is to prolong the suffering born of being separated from Its Light: there is more joy in a single drop of water on the tongue of a man in the desert than will ever be found in a whole library of books on the nature of streams, rivers, and the raindrops that fall to fill them.
