Our task is to see the entire kingdom of our consciousness. To BE all that we are we must SEE all that we are. Start with just being aware of the tension in your eyes, the tension in your face. See what that's about. As you work to see, you will gradually move into a relationship with an order of being that no longer needs to derive a sense of itself from outside conditions, that no longer identifies with the waves of thoughts and feelings, and is never captured by any particular thought. All of those elements are aspects of that consciousness, but you are not these elements. You are the witness, watching their movement.
