  • There cannot be a bridge without awareness of the opposing shore and the need to reach that shore. A bridge connects possibilities.

In the great turning of creation, involving all of her creatures, is not every need met in a scale of time too great for the mortal eye...

... So that the need of the empty desert becomes the fullness of the sea, and the need of the mountain river completed by the valley into which it flows, bringing its life-giving waters.

And so, it is given to us to see that there is a greater -- invisible and over-riding Good -- that stands within, and behind all the conditions of creation.

What is faith but our awareness of this invisible, silent promise; (it is) the source of our "hope in things unseen" as the foundation of our yet realized relationship with what is Divine in origin.

Faith is a journey between this Good that we have glimpsed, and our realization of it.
