The Right Answer to Reconcile Every Moment of Life

He seeks answers; that's all he has ever done, or known to seek because he treasured, above all else, the temporary sense of peace they provide - answers that seem to resolve, and so dissolve the constant disturbances that ebb and flow within the ceaselessly changing conditions of his life.

It never dawns on him that whatever answers he finds are like footprints in the sand: momentary impressions that are swept away by a timeless procession of waves giving birth to creation, even as it washes it away.

He can't fathom that what he witnesses is a procession of possibilities, erasing the old and reshaping it anew.

So that just as he claims the calm of some answer whose shape and form he long sought after, a moment later it's gone; he's left with only the faint impression of some solution whose direction has disappeared before his disbelieving eyes. And so he begins again...
