The unseen seed of every success -- of every great work of art, and every light that has ever helped illuminate the human journey -- began with someone being open to a new possibility in life and saying "Yes" to it... regardless of personal cost.

The one who, given the least, knows the greatest contentment in life -- who is able to find the highest good in the lowliest of things -- must be considered the most fortunate of us all.

Conscious awareness of one's own essential elements acts as both the catalyst for their successive transformation, as well as making possible this grand revelation about the nature of True Self: the Ground of discovery always precedes whatever is revealed as living within and upon it.

To just start... To dare to act in the face of that feeling like there is no way to proceed... Is how we learn the truth that there is nothing in this life that can keep us from succeeding other than just not getting started.

False self has its own unseen life; it maintains and sustains its many "I"s through a process of constant diversion. Its favorite device for staying out of sight is a succession of self-centered stories that it creates, all fueled by imagination, fear, intimidation, and other forms of deliberate misdirection.

The reason why our struggle to be "first and foremost" in the eyes of others is always a losing proposition is because the fear of being "last" can never be satisfied.

Real wealth is not measured by how much we manage to take from life, but is realized in discovering our endless potential to give something of ourselves to each moment that enriches everything in it, including us.

One sign of true spiritual success is when, at long last, we realize not only are we (always) standing in the right place for us to to be in that moment but -- even more telling is this: regardless how that moment unfolds... there is no one else on earth we would rather be!
