Student Talks: 12/19/2025 - You can't escape any unwanted experience of yourself because that is the experience you don’t want! The Good news is this experience of yourself is not your true Self…but, for now, it is largely the only (sense of) self you’re given to know.

Topics Covered: Even though it may sound like a paradox, the quality of obedience is intimately connected to perfect self-command; Real command is not about controlling your own reactions, let alone controlling other people. Anything that you feel you must have control over is in control of you; In order to fulfill its purpose in existence, a seed must die so that it may give birth to another order of itself.

Before we can hope to stop reliving any unwanted moment from our past, we must see that our experience of it is inseparable from how we ourselves have named it.
