The real reason we stress ourselves over the way others behave -- and are so quick to judge them for their irritating behavior -- is as follows: by blaming others for how we feel in the moment . . . then our negative state is always the fault of someone else.
Whoever serves any form of fear, as when one struggles to keep some relationship in life that compromises their integrity, what he or she fails to see is that all they win for their service is to become more fearful.
Trying to assess, and then assign blame to the stress that exists between you and whatever you may be struggling with in life... is like trying to judge which side of the rope in a tug-of-war is to be blamed for the tension (in it).
The mind asleep to itself doesn't realize it creates the stress and strain it can't stop trying to rescue itself from...
As long as even the smallest unexpected change in this topsy-turvy world of ours can grab and fix our attention onto something that leaves us feeling stressed and negative about it, we are a prisoner of this world... and play an unconscious role in its continuing conflict.

Part I: It is never the unwanted condition itself that has us stuck, but that we are unknowingly hung up in habitual thoughts and feelings about our situation. To be New we must learn to see ourselves from that part of us that knows who we really are, our True Nature, was not created to be a captive of anything! Part II: Just as the echo of a voice that has shouted out, "Stop m...
Whatever temporary “strength” we derive from any stressed, agitated state of mind -- as it empowers us to “go through” what it is pushing us to do -- is a lie. The only “power” this lower level of consciousness possesses is to deceive us...
The single greatest unseen cause of premature aging, stress-related health issues, and ultimately of death is... the deeply mistaken, agonizing idea...
We are carried along in the stream of passing time by (our) dream that freedom from stress, strain, and struggle will be ours as soon as we reach their “promised land” of perfect security...
