Nothing ends that something doesn’t begin; nothing begins that something doesn’t end. To know this as true is to no longer live in the fear of emptiness, let alone to covet the feeling of “fulness”...

You wish, and then rush, to free yourself from your sorrows, but refuse to change the beliefs causing them...which is like jumping off the Ferris wheel onto the merry-go-round in the hopes of bringing an end to your dizziness. Any attempt to protect yourself from emptiness only creates the illusion of it...along with an imaginary self that believes it can somehow outrun this unwanted nothing.

Classroom Talk: 12/13/2024 - Everything is singing; all things created, even those that seem to make no sound are, nevertheless, instruments of a silence that never stops ringing out; each tells a story unique not only to itself, but for the sake of all those who wish to hear the One Voice that speaks for all.

Topics covered:  Resistance to the moment does not prove that you know what the moment is about; You believe that you can get away from yourself. But the object that the mind is trying to get to does not exist without the subject that makes it; Perfect love casts out fear because it takes you out of the equation. Love comes when the self ends. Knowing is antithetical to love.

Most of us are filled with wants that change nothing about who we are, let alone answer the emptiness inside. If we must ask for something, let it be for greater Wisdom; for possessions and powers come and go... but Wisdom is Now, and forever.
