The Light fears no darkness, and never fears anything that the darkness says is true about itself or the Light. The darkness is fear itself, because it "knows" that any form of light brought into it will reveal its essential nothingness.

You must dare to do the thing you think cannot be done... as this is the only way to discover that there's nothing you can't do.
We should count as most valuable any day where, in some small way, we are awake enough to catch our own wrong thinking working to make us its victim.
In the end -- regardless of the field of investigation, be it in science, the arts, the heavens above our head, or within our heart -- what do we really explore other than ourselves? For whatever we may uncover is also discovered, at the same time, as always having been there right within our own mind.
Every inspired thought -- each new insight that points to the heights of what we might yet become -- serves to enlarge the mind that conceives it. And the grand discovery of that mind touched by any such truth is that within this breaking light is found nothing less than the endlessness of its own possibilities.
We should never measure ourselves according to our "possibilities" because all such estimations of self are always based in secretly embraced evaluations of our own past.
The better we understand the unique power of being "passive"- and how it serves as the secret consort of all things active - the more we grow in the faith we need to be wisely passive toward whatever fears remain in us about letting go of our false self.
