Student Talks: 7/22/2022 - Key Lesson: Until the lesson in the repetition of any painful experience is realized as inseparable from the level of consciousness responsible for its reincarnation, there can be no lesson learned, let alone any measure of freedom from all such unwanted moments.
That we should search only our own conscience for confirmation of what is good and true, this is the best definition of integrity. For that which is good and true is not social in nature, but spiritual in need and in deed...
The fear of any imagined time to come... IS the time of fear.
A brief, but important glimpse into the truth behind the idea of “spiritual” poverty: only from nothing can God make us into something new.
Nothing real lives outside the flow of life except for an imagined self whose sense of “I” consists of insisting that life never deviate from the direction it imagines will lead it to freedom.
True serenity, real inner repose is the same as being quietly, consciously, released from a legion of false beliefs... each of which gives rise to an equally false sense of self.
Any form of some painful, or otherwise conflict-filled negative reaction only persists -- as such -- in a world whose creator assists with -- and supports -- the reason for the continuation of that suffering.
You are a creation of the Deep; drawn to explore not just an unknowable mystery, but to take an unimaginable journey into the depths of an unnameable Being... and all without having to take a single step outside of yourself.
Imagine trying to see the whole of an ocean through a ship’s porthole, and we have a pretty good idea why (our) life can so often feel small and confined...
Dormant -- and waiting just “out of sight” -- in any demand (of ours) for “certainty” hides the familiar fear of living with what we call “painful uncertainty”.
What is Limitless hides within, and just behind limitation. So anyone who will agree to silently slip into the quiet awareness of any painful sense of inadequacy -- refusing to bow before it -- will be crowned with a new and unimaginable strength.
Any moment we can remember to break out of habitual thought -- and simply know that we exist -- is the same as realizing a new and higher level of consciousness that thought will never know, let alone share in a measure of its perfect peace.
