Meditation Talk: 7/19/2019 - An ever-widening meditation -- that can, and should be practiced everywhere, under any circumstance, (other than when one must employ practical thought) -- is how we steadily bridge the illusion of duality... ending the painful illusion of imagining ourselves as apart from the Divine source of our (own) soul.
The awareness of our living relationship with the present moment -- our willingness to consciously practice its presence -- empowers us to know what's best for us without having to think about it.
Question: I have attempted to practice non-resistance. Sometimes in doing this, the waves that pass through a given moment can be quite intense. Often I am among people or circumstances that make it difficult to "allow." This level of practice, in my (Buddhist) tradition, is usually undertaken by forest monks or people who've left lay life and live in a situation dedicated to this alone...
Your conscious participation in inner exercises, such as these five practices, is the only way to awaken the will you need so that one day you never have to answer to any anxiety again!...
Rather than defend our mistakes by finding excuses for them, we can understand that our refusal to learn the lesson at hand ensures we will meet that lesson again, along with its misery.
