Getting started -- with whatever it may be -- is as simple as remembering that there's nothing in the universe that can stop you from taking the FIRST step.

If we will refuse to fill unwanted moments with what we imagine we must have -- or do -- to feel secure and free, we will soon witness those same dark moments being filled with the fearless Light of an unimaginable Life.

Allowing any part of (your) self to act in such a way as to deny you a new awareness of yourself -- whatever its quality -- is the same as refusing your right to realize the limitless depth and breadth of your True Self.

No condition, in and of itself, is ever the cause of psychological stress, fear, or regret; suffering of this kind is inherent in an unseen, unconscious level of ‘self’ that resists changing conditions because it is incapable of changing with them.

The more that we say, “later” -- postponing the inner work of illuminating any painful disturbance within us -- the greater grows the illusion that it's profitable to delay bringing what lives in the dark of us into the Light of Higher Self-Awareness.

We cannot fulfill who we are -- all that we are created to be -- in an imagined time to come, any more than a rose waits for the “right kind” of sunlight to reveal -- and to realize -- its natural beauty and grace.

The looming shadow of any negative spirit cannot follow us, let alone punish us in any moment we remember that ours is the divine right to bring it into the light of higher self-awareness... for therein no darkness can dwell.

Painful thoughts, feelings of regret, the fear of some dark tomorrow: all point to a “distant fire” as the source of our suffering, even as they blow smoke in our eyes to ensure we don't see that they are what's burning us in any troubling moment.
