Student Talks: 7/16/2021 - Key Lesson: Part 1: Whatever we seek in this world to confirm our sense of self, the same serves to corrupt us. Should you doubt this, just become aware of your compulsive need to constantly be assured that whatever "kingdom" you've created for yourself... is still there. Part 2: Blessed are those who love, for they shall be loved; but for those who love not -- but only imagine they do -- even what little they have shall be taken... and they shall neither know love, nor be loved.
Student Talks: 8/11/2023 - Key Lesson: Part 1: There is no relief from the conflict and grief born of unrealized self-ignorance, which is why it's wise to seek self-knowledge. Part 2: The hardest thing in the world is to quietly do what life asks of you; but, if you attend to this first, Divine desire, all else is added... and you "shall not want."
Student Talks: 6/9/2023 - Key Lesson: Part 1: We cannot know the depth and breadth of our highest, heavenly possibilities as long as we fear to explore, realize, and release all that keeps us bound to this earth. Part 2: Our unconscious conditioning goes before us every moment, acting as the unseen judge, jury, and "executioner" of each, and every moment of our life.
Student Talks: 2/24/2023 - Key Lesson: My most contented hours are those filled with emptiness; and I regret -- as comes their appointed time -- having to fill these precious moments with what is little more than the mandatory, but mostly empty business of this world: attending to all of the virtually endless forms that are, at best, shadows of the real... at worst, vanities.
Once you realize that you can't separate an imagined fear from the level of self that believes in what it has imagined, you are near the end of your fears.
Fulfilling your true purpose in life -- finding unshakable strength and lastingcontentment -- has nothing whatsoever to do with anything that can beplanned.
Student Talks: 1/10/2025 - It's not the unwanted moment that limits our possibilities, but rather that we meet it from a limited part of us; where, without our knowing it, an unconscious nature has already decided not just the meaning of that event, but what we can -- or cannot -- do about it; where our choices in each moment are predetermined by our conditioned reaction to it.
Student Talks: 06/12/2026 - Don’t look back, nor ahead. Peace can’t be made, let alone seen with eyes blinded by time. Patience and conscious suffering travel in unseen lockstep, together…or not at all. Only the foolish look for one, and away from the other.
Student Talks: 7/14/2023 - Key Lesson: When the winds of fortune blow hot or cold, sweet or sour, don't lean toward one or away from the other. Instead, remain upright; only the balanced mind can walk safely over and through the uneven surfaces of this world.
Student Talks: 6/4/2021 - Key Lesson: In the end, all forms of psychological suffering can be traced back to a basic single source: the false belief that our unwanted conditions -- whatever they may be -- are greater than our capacity to change our relationship to them.
Student Talks: 3/14/2025 - We can't change others – or, for that matter, the purpose of any given moment as it unfolds – but we can work to place one less demand on both. Only in this action can we hope to find the freedom for which we seek, because the only thing that imprisons us – in the end – is our resistance to whatever runs against our deeply seated demands.
Student Talks: 7/23/2021 - Key Lesson: Part 1: Nothing serves to create a greater sense of isolation -- a feeling of being cut off from life -- than being at the center of your own thoughts about yourself; where you live out your days as a castaway on the "island of self" upon which you have, unknowingly, agreed to abandon yourself. Part 2: No worldly acclaim, possession, or relationship with...
