All things... be they character or creature -- animate or not -- speak to you from within yourself. The wildflower, the wind, the tumbling leaf and the dead branch that catches it: all have voices, and all may be heard. Learn to listen and you'll hear the Eternal as the sound of yourself.
Never run from what feels like any empty moment. If you will wait in it, watch it unfold, you'll soon see it reveal its secret fullness... much in the same way as the dark of a new moon becomes, in time, a moon full of light as it catches and reflects the light of the sun.
If our contentment -- our joy in life -- doesn’t start somewhere deep and untouchable within us, as does the beauty of a rose begin before it flowers, then our happiness is “in and of this world”: (it is) a creation of passing time that will -- as must all things that live in time -- wilt and wither away.
Where is tomorrow's fear other than in today's troubled imagination? And, if this is true, and IT IS... Then, what to do with our attention now? Let it be swallowed up in the dark shadow of what “may be”... Or, hold it in the Light of higher awareness where no shadow can dwell, let alone its fear?
