There is no solving the mystery of ourselves without having first solved the mystery of our suffering... which is why so few become self-realized, let alone set free...
We cannot be made into anything that we haven't first agreed to be made into; this means there can only be one reason why we find ourselves feeling afraid, angry, or anxious when suddenly thrown into some unwanted moment: we are turning to, and living from... the wrong maker.
No matter what direction you may find yourself turned in at the outset of any given moment, just be sure that before you start walking nothing negative guides your footsteps...
Higher Life lessons that reveal and help us realize our True Self are not the effect of passing events; rather, life's events serve these teachings of the timeless kind. Only by daring to see the truth of ourselves in challenging moments will we ever see, and then be set free by the revelations that await us there...
Truth, like sunlight, radiates out, pouring down ceaselessly from the “emptiness” of The Great Unknown into the fullness of how we experience it... as something temporarily “known.” But, don’t miss the point: without emptiness, nothing flows. We mustn’t allow the fear of empty space to deceive us into trying to fill ourselves; for if we do...
You cannot hide from what you fear; it is impossible...
Any time the mind makes a “package” out of some unwanted moment -- wrapping its reaction (to it) in familiar troubled thoughts, and negative feelings -- it does so at the cost of exchanging a priceless gift it’s been given...
