It is the things we think ourselves to be that cause heartache and pain, for there is no such sorrow in the still whole depths of who we really are.
There is no one to blame for a negative feeling that you don't want that is, unless you think your waiter is responsible for the meal you don't like when you go out to eat.
We think that what troubles us most in life revolves around those things we can't control, or that we're otherwise unable to possess. But, the real source of what torments us is . . . we don't possess ourselves.
