Real freedom has no beginning or end, while fear can't exist without the beginning of something that will -- and must, under law -- come to an end.

We must prove our fears false, or we will never know true freedom. This act of courage is the only one that requires we do nothing.

Real Faith and Freedom go hand in hand, because no one is free who lives with fear, and fear cannot live in a person of Faith.

Freedom from the prison of negative states remains impossible until one loses interest in the false, but powerful, sense of self derived from identifying with (one's own) surging sensations.

This is the first and foremost thing the true aspirant must understand if he or she is ever to find the freedom they seek: negative states cannot learn.

It may be said that one finds freedom from suffering over oneself in direct proportion to one's realization that there is no separate self whose suffering is to be resisted.

Part I: No one sets out to find ways to comfort himself without having first consented to making his own discontented nature King or Queen for the duration of that search. Part II: Our spiritual sleep is upon a bed of thorns lightly covered by fragrant petals.

There is no greater victory in this life than to win one's freedom from always feeling the need to rush through something – to get someplace – in order to be at peace with oneself.

The living now, true Presence is not just the expression of perfect freedom; it is its center everywhere, the unseen ground from out of which all arises and returns in time.
