What understanding do you have of what Divinity requires of us in the way of abstinence or utilizing our sexual energy in order to dissolve the ego and develop our soul?...
Here is the sure cure for any sense of feeling superior to others: Observe those in your life whose behavior you're quickest to negatively judge and then -- if you dare -- use his or her manifestation as a "window" through which to catch sight of a similar character hidden there in the shadows of your own heart.
Although it may not always seem true... there is no "dark side" to any image-shattering truth that we agree to see about ourselves; it is only our present inability to comprehend how this stage of (interior) illumination sets the stage for revelation... that makes us want to hide from its light.
Our love for what is Right, Bright, and True is constantly being tested... Not only by that timeless spiritual Light that calls us to take its side, but also by the nature of that darkness created in its absence... through which we must walk in order to realize our intention to be whole, fearless, and free.
One virtually unknown aspect of love -- and, in a way, one that is most vital to your inner growth -- is found not in correcting the path of others, but rather in allowing them the un-invaded inner space they must have in order to fully experience the consequences of their own choices.
The more complex your life, the more vulnerable it is to the random exterior forces that can cause it to come crashing down. This is why -- speaking both physically and psychologically -- the simpler your life, the more stable it is; when one's peace of mind requires juggling many parts... all the more easily does one's peace come tumbling down.
Part 1 From inner lies arise all forms of outer lying; to realize this truth is the beginning of the end of all self-created fears. Part 2 Each lie that we tell ourselves -- or that we "share" with others -- is both the seed and the bitter fruit of a fear to come... until the truth be told.
Imagination, and the daydreams that it creates, act as a kind of consolation; it seems to compensate for the empty, fearful, and conflict filled world in which we live today; but, in truth, this level of imagination is the cause of our common sorrow... and therefore can never be a part of its solution.
The spiritual body that alone can stand the buffeting of all unconscious opposing forces -- that ultimately learns to use them for its own development -- is further perfected each time we struggle, as needed, to remember this one celestial fact: nothing in this world (or the next) has the right -- or the power -- to turn our own attention against us.
Part 1 Awareness is the womb of order; this is why, in the end, it is always the Light of stillness -- and the silence that it births -- that alone has the power to make things right, to set them straight. Part 2 In the silence of perfect stillness creation pays homage to the Light that gives it birth.
Just as a swarm of flies that darkens the sky is swept aside by a single breeze, so too can the pervasive negative states that darken one's heart and mind be brushed away -- if we will only dare to come awake to ourselves and ask that tormenting spirit a single question: Upon what is your authority based?...
Remember that all dark thoughts and feelings require our consent to punish us and that these negative states are, in themselves, literally nothing without the powers we grant them. Then, in this same bright moment of recalling the truth of ourselves, we are made the conqueror of what would overcome us!...
