The pain of any dark moment that makes life feel pointless is, at best a lie. Ours is always the right to exchange any form of discouragement for the realization that nothing about it -- neither its doubt, nor its attending sense of despair -- is native to our True Self.
Act on what you love, not from what you fear, and watch how fear fades as love grows.
Once we realize -- no matter what we attempt in life -- the "worst" we can do is learn from that experience, then the whole idea of "failure" fades from view and, in its place, freedom appears.
The ache of any dark moment -- of any pain that makes life feel pointless -- is best reconciled by this revelation, and its implied action: yours is always the right to exchange any form of discouragement for the realization that nothing about it -- neither its pain, nor its attending sense of despair belongs to who you really are.
