All of us know what it's like to be dogged by parts of us that want to drag us down. Call it what you will: some compulsion or obsession seems to follow us into all our relationships, only to wreck them in one way or another. We struggle as best we can to free ourselves from these dark states but invariably find ourselves short of the mark.

If you wish to enter into a new relationship with life you must be willing to challenge the voices of ""I can't"" or ""I won't"" or ""I don't"" when they appear in your mind. This is the only way you will ever have the possibility of discovering that those voices are not really you.

Sitting in judgment of ourselves for being unable to enact the will of a greater Good is not proof that we possess this higher will; rather, such infidelity proves its absence. Only a steady awareness of our inconstancy can change our relationship with the will of a lower nature that "leads us into temptation"... that prompts us to "do the evil that we don't want to do."...

Part 1 Nothing can go right for us in any moment gone "wrong" until we awaken, realize, and renew our relationship with the power of a higher set of possibilities. Part 2 To know that every moment (regardless of how it comes wrapped) is a gift greater than you can give yourself, is to be well on your way to a life without fear.
