The harsh, or otherwise cruel judgment of yourself feels like it's part of what's necessary to perfect yourself when, in truth, it's actually the mechanical action of the unconscious mind punishing itself for not being as it's imagined it ought to be.

The limitation of thought is that it can know, but never be. Being is the heart of reality itself, while thinking only creates the illusion of being real.

Until we see that our negative reaction toward those we judge for their mechanical, often unthinking action is equally automated -- equally predictable -- we remain little more than a machine that believes it's different from another machine because of the keen eye with which we judge it.
