Looking to any person, place, possession, or power to answer our longing to be whole and free . . . is like searching the back of our bedroom closet in the hope of finding the entrance to King Solomon's mine.
We are set free from the nightmare of self-inflicted pain called "judging others" as we awaken to see within ourselves that nothing is true of any one of us . . . that isn't true of all of us.
Whoever seeks power to set himself free has forgotten that his True Nature cannot be made a captive of anything, so that his struggle serves only his forgetfulness and secretly strengthens the bars of his imagined cell.
No one is free who has an ax to grind with any other person, let alone who grind themselves down with painful self-judgment believing, in vain, that self-punishment is somehow connected to self-perfection.
We can imagine, and then wish for what we hope will make us whole -- fearless and free -- but real wholeness, spiritual freedom is unimaginable, as is the path that leads us to realize that Divine estate.
The only way to free yourself from the illusion of any fearful moment to come is to wake up and then deliberately drop the dark dream born of a lower level of self that loves imagining fearful things.
This life -- if it is anything -- is a school for our higher education. We can either accept the lessons that life brings or we can reject them, but we cannot escape the consequences of our actions in the moment of choice.

Before the Light of the Divine can begin teaching us, revealing within us the healing facts needed to be set free, there’s one thing we must see as true... beyond the shadow of any doubt: fear can't learn.
We cannot learn the truth of ourselves -- let alone hope to be set free by it -- as long as even one part of us refuses that revelation -- regardless of how impossible it may feel to stand there... in its Light.
Real love can never betray you; for whomever starts with, and then endeavors through what love asks of him will come to know this greatest of truths that sets one free: love's endpoint begins -- and has always abided -- within you.
Real freedom isn't subject to how others estimate our value; it is in realizing that none are free who find their sense of worth wondering how others measure their lives.
