Part 1: It is an unthinkable spiritual paradox that before one can ever hope to be dressed for the marriage divine, one must first see how unsuited he or she is to know such a Love. Part 2: Desires serve the awakening one, while one who sleeps...serves desire.

There is only one way to sharpen -- to polish and refine -- one's spiritual understanding, including its set of inherent interior skills... and that is to consistently, repeatedly throw yourself into and up against anything and everything that stands between you and what higher intuition beckons you to see, comprehend, and become.

Nothing can take from us our spiritual freedom; it is a Divine Gift, which means any time we find ourselves struggling to escape the captivity of a negative state, it's only because we’re (temporarily) asleep, caught in the web of a dark dream from which we’ve yet to awaken.

Here is the real reason why so very few ever realize a conscious relationship with the Divine: higher Love is consummated only in the awareness and acceptance of one’s own spiritual poverty...

A great spiritual mystery: self-liberation is either found within what we’re given to see, or not at all...

One of the great, unseen contradictions in our life is that we can so easily "talk ourselves" into acting against our own best interests. If anything deserves our dedicated spiritual study then, surely, it must be how we can be deceived into jumping into a pit that we dug for ourselves!

Whenever we ask, "What did I do to deserve this?" we have forgotten that we ask for what we receive with every thought and feeling we embrace and to which we give life. The great axiom with regards to realizing this spiritual truth is that the plant always reveals the seed.

Part I: The realization that you are never alone except by the choice of something in you that prefers the pressure of isolation over the contentment of Higher Communication opens the lines of Heaven within you. Part II: Spiritual pride both creates and maintains the barrier between you and Higher Help.

The true spiritual leap needed to go beyond yourself is born in the moment of understanding that what you need is not a way to resolve or outrun what is punishing you but to rise above that world within yourself where these recurring pains are a part of the natural landscape.
