For those who love truth no door is locked, no secret is kept; all that is needed to be free is given... freely; and Life asks but one thing of us in exchange for this Gift: the willingness to unwrap ourselves...
When it comes to being free, there is no such thing as the "next best thing." Therefore, it is the far wiser soul that agrees to "die" to her imagined freedom, than it is to live as a fool who realizes, too late, that he traded his soul for a servitude made comfortable by compromise.
Part I: We want to be free of unpleasant inner states but refuse to consciously bear the weight of them...which is a mandatory interim stage between living with the burden of self and being released from it. Part II: All forms of stress secretly serve the nature of those thoughts responsible for its creation.
The inner journey that leads to a life no longer bound by painful unwanted moments -- including their ever-present fears and doubts -- has one prerequisite: along the Way we must agree to walk through any gate above which reads this sign: enter here to meet whatever limits your right to be free.
Here’s a glimpse of a higher level of self-knowledge that opens the door to the possibility of a karma-free life: Nothing moves that everything doesn’t; so that if we learn to move with life itself, Life will take care of itself... and therein is our innocence, and our freedom guaranteed.
Classroom Talk: 9/25/2002 - Don't try to be free -- for this sets you against any movement of life that doesn't line up with your ideas about the nature of freedom. Our love for what is Right, Bright, and True is constantly being tested... Not only by that timeless spiritual Light that calls us to take its side, but also by the nature of that darkness created in its absence... through which we must walk in order to realize our intention to be whole, fearless, and free.
The reward of being True to ourselves becomes more and more apparent as we realize that most of the fears that stalk us are created by us when we are false to others, or to ourselves; too late we discover that to compromise our own integrity is the same as forsaking our wish to be fearless and free.
True freedom is within what I am, and not in what I have... and if I have not this freedom of being free in what I am... then any other sense of freedom is based in conditions apart from the Spirit of my soul and, as such, is my unseen captor only posing as my liberator.
I saw a bright yellow butterfly today Use its wings in an utterly new way So that nary a breeze deflected its flight. No...it didn't flutter slowly out of sight. Rather, so straight, swift, and true it flew I knew: if a caterpillar can be set so free, Then surely there's hope...for you and me.
