Classroom Talk: 3/16/2022 - The sense of any disturbance within us is the awareness of being touched by Life. The part of us that resists this unwanted sense of being "upset" by life is, in fact, powerless to restore the equilibrium it feels has been lost. In truth, all forms of painful resistance are the negative effect of an unconscious nature at war with life itself... as it blames life for disturbing its imagined peace.

Not through consideration, but in good Conscience, and not by evidence of the senses, but within solitude and silence should we weigh those matters concerning the care of our soul...

Seeking power, it weakens itself. Seeking fulfillment, it empties itself. Seeking control, it abandons itself. Seeking security, it frightens itself. Seeking relationship, it betrays itself...

No condition, in and of itself, is ever the cause of psychological stress, fear, or regret; suffering of this kind is inherent in an unseen, unconscious level of ‘self’ that resists changing conditions because it is incapable of changing with them.

The more that we say, “later” -- postponing the inner work of illuminating any painful disturbance within us -- the greater grows the illusion that it's profitable to delay bringing what lives in the dark of us into the Light of Higher Self-Awareness.

Divine wisdom refreshes the soul by renewing (its) faith... but not faith in the hope of a time to come; rather the willing soul flourishes in the Light of its timeless relationship with revelation...
