Before you act, see. Start observing the "wanting" nature within yourself by producing a pause, so that you can bring an awareness of the "wanter" into the moment. Work to see more deeply into your wants by examining your own heart in these moments, and realize that what you've been treasuring ultimately becomes the source of your torment. With this realization, now your treasure will be where you heart is, which is on the right side of the interior struggle.
